Welcome to the forest of Elatia, known as Kara Ntere, of Drama prefecture.

It is the largest forest in Greece with 1.712 different plants, 38 species of mammals and 102 species of birds which 20 are very rare and under extinction. UNESCO has categorized the forest as a natural monument with protected areas, specially the virgin part of Fraktos.

In this natural environment at 1.550 meters altitude is located "ELATIA HOTEL", which was built under strict prescriptions.

Since January 2007 offers all the amenities for a pleasant stay in a cozy and family environment.

The "ELATIA HOTEL" has 10 well-groomed rooms, each one with view of the forest, that surrounds all of the hotel, whereof one is also for People with disabilities. Every room has autonomous heating, telephone, television, refrigerator, and hair dryer.
